After conducting the onsite work, we immediately begin to develop preliminary design concepts by exploring various design options and solutions. At this point, we create a comprehensive project budget that we keep within 10% of the completed cost.
Construction Documents and Pre-Construction: At this point, our team refines the design and firms up the design with mechanical and structural experts at a walk-through of the project with the Project Manager. We also prepare a comprehensive construction contract with a menu of options for you to choose from.
Construction: This is where the magic starts to happen and your home begins to take shape. Permits have been procured and it is time for the work to begin. Weekly meetings with your Project Manager keep you informed and we are here to answer questions on a daily basis if necessary. During this phase, we pride ourselves on being sensitive to the dirt and collateral damage construction causes. We are sure to make the job site as clean and safe as possible after every day of work. We wish to have a minimal impact on either your daily life or your neighbors.
Warranty and Post Construction: Edgemoor Custom Builders does not disappear after your home's completion. After final completion you have a walk through with your project manager where systems operation training is offered.
